Crafted for the most demanding environments, Celestial's vent cover boasts commercial-grade 16 gauge 304 stainless steel. This heavy-duty material is selected for its resistance to dents and ability to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, ensuring an extended lifespan and superior durability.
While designed to meet commercial standards, this vent cover is also perfectly suited for residential use. It provides a robust and stylish solution for ventilating your gas fire pit or grill, blending seamlessly into the aesthetics of any home setup and offering top-tier functionality in any setting.
- Durability: Made from 16 gauge stainless steel, this vent cover has a very high rigidity and is resistant to physical damage such as dents and impacts. This is particularly important for outdoor applications where the material may be exposed to harsh conditions.
- Weather Resistance: The heavy gauge of this stainless steel provides better resistance to environmental factors such as rain, snow, and extreme temperatures, preventing corrosion over time.
- Lifespan: Due to its enhanced durability and resistance to weathering, 16 gauge stainless steel has a longer lifespan compared to thinner materials.
- Easy Installation: Secure the plate to the sides of your fire pit using the screw holes in the corners of the plate (wood screws are included).
- Ventilation Requirements: All gas fire pits require ventilation for unburnt gas to escape from under the burner, and fresh air to be brought in. It is recommended to have 20 sq. in. on two opposing sides for a flow-through of air. For more information on ventilation check out our article Do I Need Ventilation for My DIY Gas Fire Pit?
- Sizing: The vent covers measure 14" x 4.5" but the cutout for the ventilation is only 13.75" x 3.5", meaning that the plate will cover a slightly larger area than the actual vent opening.
